Zona arqueológica de Iglesia Vieja o Los Horcones
🎟️ Attraction in Popular Santa Fe, Tonalá, CHP
Zona arqueológica de Iglesia Vieja o Los Horcones is an extensive archaeological site in the Popular Santa Fe neighborhood. It was a major pre-Hispanic city that served as a regional capital and commercial hub connecting Maya, Mixtec, and Zapotec cultures.
Something unique: The site was occupied from the Mesoamerican Preclassic period and later became the headquarters of the Zoque culture on Chiapas' Pacific coast.
