The Wool Capital of Mexico
About Tulancingo
Tulancingo serves as the second-largest city in Hidalgo, situated 93 km from Mexico City in the state's southeastern region. Beyond its role as a major wool textile producer, it was home to famous figures like wrestler El Santo and cartoonist Gabriel Vargas. The city also contains the Huapalcalco archaeological site, which predates the Teotihuacan civilization.
