About Tultitlán de Mariano Escobedo
Tultitlán de Mariano Escobedo serves as the municipal seat of Tultitlán in the northeastern State of México, forming part of the Greater Mexico City urban area adjacent to the Federal District. The city is also known interchangeably as San Antonio Tultitlán or simply Tultitlán. Its name derives from Náhuatl for 'among the tule plants', while the suffix was added in 1902 to honor a general who fought during La Reforma.
