Located in Chinatown, Fan Tan Alley runs south from Fisgard Street to Pandora Avenue between Government Street and Store Street. It is known as the narrowest commercial street in North America, measuring less than 0.9 m (3.0 ft) wide at its tightest point.
Something unique: The alley was named after the Chinese gambling game Fan-Tan and was originally known for opium factories until production became illegal in 1908.
