About Wake Forest
Wake Forest is a town situated primarily in Wake County, just north of Raleigh and part of its metropolitan area. The community saw significant population growth between 2010 and 2020. It served as the original home of Wake Forest University for 122 years before the institution relocated to Winston-Salem in 1956.
