About Walpole
Located in Norfolk County, this Massachusetts town sits roughly 18 miles south of downtown Boston and 30 miles north of Providence. First settled in 1659, it remained part of Dedham until its official incorporation in 1724. The community was named after Sir Robert Walpole, the de facto first prime minister of Great Britain.
