About Boynton Beach
Boynton Beach is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, situated about 57 miles north of Miami within the larger metropolitan area. Named after Nathan Boynton, a Civil War major and Michigan politician who settled there in 1895, it lies between Delray Beach to the south and Hypoluxo to the north. The municipalities of Briny Breezes, Gulf Stream, Manalapan, and Ocean Ridge are located to the east across the Intracoastal Waterway.
