About El Grullo
El Grullo is a town and municipality in Jalisco in central-western Mexico. The area covers 157.2 km2 and derives its name from a color used for horses and grass called grullo. This term was originally applied to the Hacienda established there, known as La Hacienda del Zacate Grullo.
