About Enfield
Enfield is an unincorporated community in Nova Scotia that straddles the East Hants Municipality and Halifax Regional Municipality boundaries. Situated along the Shubenacadie River near its source at Grand Lake, it sits directly adjacent to Elmsdale as part of the area colloquially known as The Corridor. The settlement takes its name from Enfield, Connecticut, which was the former residence of an early settler.
