Bowie Railroad Museum

Located at 8614 Chestnut Avenue, the Bowie Railroad Museum features restored frame structures from the former train station, including a freight depot and interlocking tower. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
Something unique: The station served passenger trains from 1872 until 1989, when it was replaced by Bowie State station nearby.
