About Guadalupe
Guadalupe is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States and part of the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Founded around 1900 by Yaqui Indians fleeing oppression in Sonora, it serves as a center for Yaqui culture with many religious festivals. The local cemetery, established in 1904, is now officially located in Tempe but remains administered by the Guadalupe Clerk's Office.
