About Scottsdale
Scottsdale is located in eastern Maricopa County as part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Named for retired U.S. Army chaplain Winfield Scott, the city was incorporated in 1951 with just 2,000 residents and has since become one of the fastest growing housing markets in the United States.
