About Hueyapan
San Andrés Hueyapan is a small town in the rural northeastern part of Morelos, situated on the southern slopes of the active volcano Popocatépetl at an elevation of roughly 2000–2500 metres. The Amatzinac river runs to its west, while the Popocatépetl-Iztaccíhuatl natural reserve lies to the north.
