About Jurupa Valley
Jurupa Valley is located in northwestern Riverside County, California, and was home to Rancho Jurupa, one of the earliest non-native settlements in the area. The rancho began as an outpost for Mission San Gabriel Arcángel before becoming a Mexican land grant in 1838. Its name honors a Native American village that existed there prior to European arrival.
