About Klamath Falls
Klamath Falls sits on the southeastern shore of Upper Klamath Lake, at the foothills of the Cascade Range. The city became the county seat of Klamath County and was originally called Linkville when George Nurse founded the town in 1867. It was renamed Klamath Falls in 1893 after the nearby falls of the Link River.
