About Laurel Hill
Laurel Hill is a census‑designated place in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. The community grew on the former grounds of the Lorton Reformatory, which were redeveloped after the prison closed in 2002. Its name comes from Laurel Hill House, an eighteenth‑century building that once housed Revolutionary War patriot William Lindsay.
