About Lowell
Lowell is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, situated within the Ozarks. First settled along Old Wire Road in the 1840s, it was reestablished after Civil War destruction and thrived with the arrival of the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway in the 1880s. Today it serves as a growing bedroom community in Northwest Arkansas and is the headquarters of trucking company J.B. Hunt.
