About Mountain House
Mountain House is a city on the western edge of San Joaquin County, lying just east of the historical waystop of the same name in Alameda County. Originally approved by the county board in 1994 and begun in 2001, this planned community was incorporated in 2024 after being classified as a census-designated place with a population of 24,499.

Altamont Speedway is a motorsports race track located in northern California, west of Tracy. The facility opened on July 22, 1966, and operated for 42 years before closing in October 2008.
The site is located just south of the junction of Interstates 205 and 580.
