About Navasota
Navasota is a city in Grimes County, Texas, United States. It lies near the Brazos River and is part of the Bryan‑College Station Metropolitan area, although most of it remains within Grimes County. The town was named the "Blues Capital of Texas" in 2005 to honor Mance Lipscomb, a native blues musician.
