About Ogdensburg
Located at the northern border of New York on the south bank of the St. Lawrence River, Ogdensburg sits at the mouth of the Oswegatchie River. European-American settlers named the community after land owner Samuel Ogden in the late 18th century. It is the only formally designated city in St. Lawrence County.
