About Smiths Falls
Smiths Falls is a town in Eastern Ontario located 78 kilometres southwest of Ottawa. Although situated within the Lanark County census division, it remains administratively separate from the county. The Rideau Canal waterway passes through the community, featuring four separate locks that create a combined lift of over 15 metres.
