About Robstown
Robstown is a city in Nueces County, Texas, and a western suburb of Corpus Christi. It was founded in 1907 by George H. Paul, a land speculator from Keota, Iowa, who purchased over ten thousand acres of the Driscoll Ranch north of the Texas‑Mexican Railroad. The town’s name evolved from “Rob’s store” into Robstown during its early years.
