About Tanaina
Tanaina is a census-designated place in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of Alaska, situated four miles north of Wasilla. It falls within the Anchorage, Alaska Metropolitan Statistical Area and saw its population rise to 8,817 by the 2020 census. This growth makes it the sixth-most populated CDP in the state.
