About Uxbridge

Located at the midpoint of Blackstone Valley National Historic Park, Uxbridge was first colonized in 1662 and incorporated in 1727. This former textile center played a key role in the American anti-slavery movement and is recognized as the Cradle of the Industrial Revolution. The age of computing also began here with IBM’s first chief engineer and lab.
