About Tlalnepantla
Tlalnepantla de Baz is a municipality in the state of Mexico, situated north of Mexico City in the Valley of Mexico. Its name derives from Náhuatl words meaning 'the middle land,' while the addition of 'Baz' honors Gustavo Baz Prada, a revolutionary soldier who later became governor and president of UNAM. The municipality includes an exclave to the west that is divided by Gustavo A. Madero.
