About Vegreville
Vegreville is a town in central Alberta located on Highway 16A about 103 km east of Edmonton. Incorporated in 1906, the community launched its weekly newspaper that same year. The town takes its name from Roman Catholic Oblate missionary Father Valentin Vegreville.
