About Enid
Enid is the ninth‑largest city in Oklahoma and serves as the county seat of Garfield County. Founded during the Cherokee Outlet opening in the Land Run of 1893, it grew around a rail depot and was named after Enid from Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s Idylls of the King.
