About Romeoville
Romeoville is a village in Will County, Illinois, situated 26 miles southwest of Chicago on the Gateway Wetlands. It lies directly west of the Des Plaines River and Historic U.S. Route 66, positioned between Bolingbrook and Joliet near Interstate 55 and Interstate 355. Once a small river port, the community experienced rapid growth during the 1990s and 2000s.
